SAY WHAT?

This is what Ted Cruz actually wanted to tell Donald Trump at last week’s RNC.

Sometimes “Bad Lip Reading” videos are just more accurate than reality. When Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at the Republican National Convention last week, the words coming out of his mouth did not sound particularly controversial—“vote your conscience”—but to Donald Trump’s supporters they were a downright betrayal.

Now, we have the “Bad Lip Reading” version of Cruz’s speech, in which we get to hear what he really meant. “The guy is way out of his mind, just like about all of you people, I guess,” Cruz can be seen telling delegates on Trump in the video. “Y’all are booing, I can hear it,” he adds. “I don’t like it that I have to be here right now. If we elect this cartoon of a human, we will have made a mistake.”

Like many other videos in the popular YouTube series, this one ends with a song. After Trump enters the back of the hall to confront Cruz, WWE-style, the senator sings, “Hey, mean guy, don’t serenade. Fly princess, so you can hear me. Come in a taxi, we’ll scratch at our legs and you can choke on your Instagram.”
