Tekashi69's Album Release Delayed After Federal Indictment

Rapper Tekashi69's album release has been delayed, fellow rapper Nicki Minaj announced to fans in an Instagram post Wednesday afternoon. “For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now,” Minaj wrote on the post. “Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time.” Tekashi69 was recently indicted for “gang-related racketeering and firearms charges,” and also pleaded guilty to “use of a child in a sexual performance.” Minaj previously collaborated with the rapper and announced an upcoming tour with the 22-year-old.
