A massive crash in Stage 3 of the Tour de France on Monday brought down at least 20 riders.
The race was paused for almost half an hour as medics tended to injured bicyclists. Above, Lotto-Jumbo rider Laurens ten Dam of the Netherlands receives assistance.
Several riders withdrew from the race due to their injuries, including FDJ rider William Bonnet of France, above, and race leader Fabian Cancellara.
