Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran married his longtime aide Kay Webber in a private ceremony on Saturday. The relationship between the two was the subject of many attacks from Cochran's challenger Chris McDaniel in last year's Republican primary. At the time McDaniel accused Cochran of having an affair with Webber, which was denied by Cochran's office. Webber is to remain on staff according to a Cochran spokesperson.
