‘The Four’ Judge Charlie Walk Accused of Sexual Harassment

Charlie Walk, president of Republic Records Group and a judge on Fox’s singing competition show The Four, allegedly made repeated sexual advances on a former employee. In an open letter, Tristan Coopersmith accuses Walk of calling her into his office to make sexual advances and of touching her thigh under a table at a dinner where his wife was present. On one occasion, Coopersmith claims, Walk pushed her into his bedroom and onto his bed. When Coopersmith reported him to a colleague, the colleague was not surprised and offered her a way out of the company, she said. Walk’s Republic Records is a major label, home to artists like Drake, Ariana Grande, and the Weeknd. The label’s parent company, Universal Music Group, told Variety the alleged harassment took place before Walk’s employment there, but that the allegations were under investigation.
