The Paperboy, a film starring Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, and Nicole Kidman, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival this week. In a controversial scene, Nicole Kidman’s character witnesses Efron being stung by a jellyfish. To ease his pain, she unzips her pants and does a “No. 1” all over his face and bare chest. And it turns out that Kidman actually peed all over Efron in this scene—no body or liquid double used. In honor of this bold scene and the actors who endured it, we have put together the most memorable urination scenes in recent cinematic history.
The Aviator
When Leo Dicaprio took on legendary aviator Howard Hughes, he didn’t leave the details up to the viewer’s imagination. When DiCaprio’s character refuses to leave his room for weeks on end, the evidence is apparent: jar upon jar of urine lines the walls of his abode.

The Heartbreak Kid
The Heartbreak Kid, a movie from 2007 most of us have forgotten about, features a scene in which Ben Stiller’s character is stung by a jellyfish. His bipolar newlywed thinks she knows what to do and pulls down her bikini bottom (showcasing a disturbing amount of down-there hair) and goes to town on Stiller’s back.
Fight Club
Mischief maker Tyler Durden is always attempting a revolution. Whether it’s his process of making soap, or cooking with “extra ingredients,” he’s usually giving patrons more than they bargained for. When Durden works in the kitchen of an upscale hotel restaurant, he uses his bodily skills to add extra flavor into a big batch of soup.
Austin Powers
How badly do you have to go if you’ve been frozen for 30 years? Apparently, a lot. When Mike Myers’s character is going down the conveyer belt on his way out of his cryogenic freeze, he is bathed, blow-dried, and given the chance to relieve himself. We never actually see the end to his urination—“Evacuation (eternally not) complete.”
The Exorcist
Known as one of the scariest movies of its time, 1973’s The Exorcist shows the powers of possessing demons. In one example, a little girl takes on the mentality of a bad dog and pees on a carpet. This animalistic behavior is just one dehumanizing effect of the demon that possesses her.
Troll 2
While it might be lesser-known, the urination scene in this film is undoubtedly the most memorable part. In Troll 2, a little boy gets up at the dinner table, takes out his manhood, and pees all over the family’s dinner. (Beause it’s goblin-infested and he doesn’t want the fam to get sick. Duh!)
Major League
A precursor to Charlie Sheen insanity, Major League features a scene in which a coach is dissatisfied with his sports contract, and shows, quite vividly his displeasure—laying the contract next to a baseball diamond on the field and taking a long and meaningful pee over the written words.
The Goonies
Cult classic The Goonies features a hodgepodge of ‘80s child actors running around underground looking for treasure and avoiding the bad guys. On a grueling leg of their journey, Sam from LOTR—actor Sean Astin—says to the troops point blank: “Pee break. Who’s gotta go?” Almost everyone raises their hands, and he goes on to assign two parts of the cave “The Little Girls Room” and “The Little Boys Room.”
The 40-Year-Old Virgin
Apparently staying a virgin until you’re 40 means you are always turned on. In The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Steve Carell’s character attempts to go to the bathroom, presumably aiming for the toilet bowl, but ends up peeing in his own face, because, you know…. yeah.
