Days after President Trump criticized British Prime Minister Theresa May for ignoring his advice on Brexit, the British leader has revealed what Trump’s solution was: “Sue the EU.” In an interview with the BBC on Sunday, May said Trump had advised her to “not go into negotiation, sue them.” Trump had railed against May’s handling of Brexit talks in an interview with The Sun published during his visit to the UK, suggesting he would’ve done a better job. “I would have done it much differently. I actually told Theresa May how to do it but she didn’t agree, she didn’t listen to me,” he was quoted as saying in the interview. He later told reporters his advice had been too “brutal” for the British leader.
