I got one for my dad to keep track of his steps when he takes the dog on long walks and he loves to continue to update me with his numbers. The FitBit Alta is small, stylish, and under $80. You can also look through the other FitBit options that Amazon is discounting, including the kid-friendly FitBit Ace, and the FitBit Iconic, which is their take on a smartwatch. While these may not be an everyday wear situation, they continue to keep people interested in exercise, which is really what this is all about if you think about it.
