Three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart won't be charged with the death of fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr. at a sprint car race in upstate New York. Prosecutors said a grand jury decided against charging Stewart with either criminally negligent homicide or manslaughter in Ward's August 9 death. Ward was struck and killed by Stewart's car as Ward walked down the track, apparently to confront Stewart after their cars got tangled up one lap earler. Ontario County District Attorney Michael Tantillo said toxicology evidence indicated Ward was under the influence of marijuana "at the time of operation" and that videos showed Stewart did not do anything wrong.
