The Senate Judiciary Committee is asking the Department of Justice to turn over all Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant applications relating to the federal probe into Russian election meddling. In a letter addressed to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, Sen. Chuck Grassley, the committee’s chairman, and Sen. Lindsey Graham also requested FISA applications made as part of the investigation into possible collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign associates and Russian operatives. The letter cites reports that the FISA court rejected the FBI’s warrant applications for Trump campaign associates suspected of communicating with Russians.
