As many as 28 tornadoes have torn through Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois since Sunday night, and more may touch down today. So far two deaths have been reported, both in Shawnee, Oklahoma. About 300 homes were destroyed in the state yesterday, injuring at least 23 people. A tornado near Wellston, Oklahoma, appeared to be a half mile wide.
