‘Teacher of Year’ Accused of Sex With 16-Year-Old Pupil

In 2017, Tracy Vanderhulst was named teacher of the year at California’s Yucaipa High. Now the 38-year-old has a new title: accused felon. Vanderhulst was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old male student. The math educator was booked and then released on $30,000 bond. Authorities did not provide further details of the alleged sexual misconduct.
