Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had their homes burglarized during the same weekend last month, TMZ reported Tuesday.
The burglary at Mahomes’ Belton, Missouri mansion was reported to police around midnight on Oct. 6, according to documents from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office obtained by TMZ. Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas estate was broken into hours later on Oct. 7. Police logs show the crime was reported on Oct. 8.
The Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints 26-13 on Oct. 7 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The Chiefs are currently undefeated. Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, made an appearance at the game.

Police told TMZ that they were still investigating Mahomes’ break-in, while no more information was provided about Kelce’s. It’s unclear what, if anything, was stolen from the two houses. Sources told TMZ that the burglaries “may be part of a larger crime spree in the area.”
Mahomes bought the eight acres of land in Belton in 2020 and completed the house in 2023.
“Finally we’re gonna have a home that we built and has everything we could have ever dreamed of having,” his wife, Brittany Mahomes said in the docuseries Quarterback. The estate’s amenities include half a football field, a par-three golf hole and a basketball court.
Kelce purchased his Leawood house for $6 million after his romance with Swift went public last year, reportedly seeking more privacy. Before that, he had lived in a $1 million home in Kansas City’s Briarcliff West neighborhood.
