President Donald Trump unleashed a furious attack on the media yet again Thursday morning, urging CNN to fire its president, Jeff Zucker, and accusing NBC News anchorman Lester Holt of “fudging” an interview with him. “What’s going on at CNN is happening, to different degrees, at other networks—with NBC News being the worst,” the president wrote. “The good news is that Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired(?) for incompetence, and much worse. When Lester Holt got caught fudging my tape on Russia, they were hurt badly!” In a shockingly candid interview last May, Trump flatly admitted to Holt that “the Russia thing” was on his mind when he fired former FBI Director James Comey—an admission that has fueled charges he obstructed justice for investigators in the Russia election interference probe. The president provided no reason for why he believes the interview was “fudged.” Elsewhere in his tweetstorm, Trump strongly denied reports that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner “pushed out” the outgoing White House lawyer Don McGhan, claiming the reports were “so wrong!”
