Healy Baumgardner, an aide to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign whose official title was senior press representative, has resigned from the campaign. “It is clear the campaign is now going in a direction I am no longer comfortable with and I have decided to move on,” she told Bloomberg on Friday. Baumgardner regularly appeared on CNN and MSNBC this year on behalf of the campaign, and baffled anchors with her unwillingness to answer basic questions. Her departure comes at a time when Trump has doubled- and tripled-down on his sexist attacks against a former Miss Universe.
