President Donald Trump sounded off against his Attorney General Jeff Session yet again Wednesday morning—this time criticizing Sessions’ move to enlist the Department of Justice’s inspector general to look into potential Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses allegedly conducted by the Obama administration against the Trump transition team. “Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc.,” Trump wrote. He also raised skepticism about the IG because he is “an Obama guy,” and asked, “Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!” This comes as the president has been feuding with his chosen AG since Sessions a year ago announced that he would be recusing himself from the Russia investigation.
