Federal Election Commission filings show President Donald Trump's 2020 campaign has spent more than $835,000 in legal fees this year, including more than $93,000 paid to the firm representing Trump in the Stormy Daniels case. CNN reports the legal fees make up “more than one-fifth” of the total expenditures, and $93,181.25 was paid to the firm of Charles Harder–who also represented Hulk Hogan in his case against Gawker—in the first two months of 2018. Roughly $347,000 went to law firm Jones Day, and $185,000 went to firm Larocca Hornik Rosen Greenberg & Blaha. Fired White House aide and 2020 campaign staffer John McEntee has received a total of $22,000 in payments starting March 23, the filings show. $1.7 million was given to campaign manager Brad Parscale, and $150,000 was also paid to Trump businesses from the campaign.
