Shortly after announcing exorbitant tariffs on Colombia for refusing to allow two U.S. military deportation flights to land in the country, President Donald Trump celebrated the retaliatory move with a meme on Truth Social Sunday. In the AI-generated image, the president could be seen wearing a pin-striped suit and fedora, reminiscent of the attire worn by mob bosses in gangster flicks. Behind him, a sign reads, “FAFO,” a colloquial acronym for the phrase: “F*** around and find out.” Earlier on Sunday, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that he had blocked two flights carrying migrants from arriving in Colombia and urged for the establishment of better migrant policies in the U.S. Trump did not take lightly to the move and swiftly announced a 25% emergency tariff on all imports from Colombia, as well as a travel ban and visa revocation for “Colombian government officials and all allies and supporters” amongst other retaliatory measures. “These measures are just the beginning,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday. “We will not allow the Colombian Government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the Criminals they forced into the United States!”
