President Donald Trump reportedly joked at an event with Gold Star families that his wife, Melania, had left him. “Did she leave him?” Trump reportedly joked, referring to the first lady’s prolonged absence from public view after a minor procedure. According to CNN, Melania Trump was sitting in the first row. The event, which honored families of service members who have perished, was closed to the press.
