John Kasich’s eating habits at a Rhode Island rally on Monday. “I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion,” Trump said of Kasich. “This guy takes a pancake and he’s shoving it in his mouth. It is disgusting. Do you want that for your president? I don’t think so.” Kasich has gained attention for his table manners in recent weeks after eating pizza with a fork and consuming an Italian feast in New York. Trump’s comments follow news that Kasich and rival Sen. Ted Cruz were teaming up to stop Trump from winning the Republican nomination by focusing campaign efforts on different states. Kasich’s campaign responded with a tweet displaying a picture of Trump eating and the message, “We were looking for Trump steaks for the governor, but no seems to sell them anymore.”
