President Trump on Friday announced that he intends to skip the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner again this year, and will hold a rally instead. “I’m going to hold a rally,” the president told reporters outside the White House. “The dinner’s so boring and so negative that we’re going to hold a very positive rally.” When asked where the rally would be held, Trump responded that the location hasn’t been determined: “We have about three sites, everybody wants it, it will be a big one.” Trump has skipped the annual event, which celebrates the media, for the past two years. “The correspondents’ dinner is too negative,” Trump said. “I like positive things.”
