President Trump tweeted Wednesday that there should be an investigation into the 2001 death of an intern who worked for then-GOP congressman Joe Scarborough. Tweeting about the firing of Today show host Matt Lauer, Trump also wrote, “and will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the ‘unsolved mystery’ that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” The president was referencing the death of Lori Klausutis, 28, who was found dead in Scarborough's district office in 2001 when he was a representative from Florida. Police said that a medical examination showed no signs of foul play or indication of suicide. Scarborough, who now hosts MSNBC’s Morning Joe, tweeted in response, “Looks like I picked a good day to stop responding to Trump's bizarre tweets. He is not well.”
