Trump Says Some Undocumented Immigrants Are ‘Not People’

DEHUMANIZING

At an Ohio rally, Trump said, “In some cases they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”

Donald Trump told supporters at a Saturday rally for Ohio senate candidate Bernie Moreno that some undocumented immigrants aren’t human. According to the Washington Post, while talking about undocumented immigrants accused of crimes, Trump said, “I don’t know if you call them people. In some cases they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.” His comments came as the GOP remains focused on making illegal immigration a central issue of the 2024 presidential election. “Among my very first actions upon taking office will be to stop the invasion of our country,” Trump said Saturday, the Post reported.
