At the swanky soiree hosted by the New York Young Republican Club, multiple witnesses saw a server refuse to give Boebert any more alcohol, believing she had been overserved, according to the network. The MAGA diehard also hounded Trump for photo ops throughout the night, pestering him for selfies until his security detail had to tell her to stop, according to an eyewitness. Boebert’s career in Congress is already in jeopardy as she faces a tough re-election effort in a new district. She has Trump’s endorsement but few key allies in Congress—Ken Buck, whom she is running to replace, retired from his seat early and threw a wrench into Boebert’s plans by forcing a special election, and her behavior has already won her the public disgust of other MAGA firebrands.
