Trump: Sinclair Not Biased, ‘Far Superior to CNN’

In response to the criticism Sinclair Broadcasting Group has garnered for pushing “must-run” promos about media bias, President Trump tweeted a defense of the right-leaning media conglomerate. “So funny to watch Fake News Networks, among the most dishonest groups of people I have ever dealt with, criticize Sinclair Broadcasting for being biased,” Trump wrote Monday morning. “Sinclair is far superior to CNN and even more Fake NBC, which is a total joke.” CNN and Deadspin both released reports in recent days detailing the scripted promos and mandated segments that have rolled out in Sinclair-owned local news stations, railing against the media and issuing editorial defenses of the president.
