Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told TMZ that he thinks anyone who doesn’t think former President Donald Trump got shot during his rally on July 13 is dumb or a liar. “Anyone who believes this conspiracy bullshit is either mentally deficient or willfully peddling falsehoods for political reasons,” Cheung told TMZ. “My understanding is that either it [a bullet] or some shrapnel is what grazed his ear.” FBI Director Christopher Wray told Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) during his testimony in front of Congress on Wednesday. “With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray told Congress. Trump said during his acceptance speech at the RNC that a bullet “came within a quarter of an inch of taking my life,” adding that he “heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me really, really hard on my right ear.”
