During his visit to the U.K., President Donald Trump will avoid the anticipated protests in London and meet with British officials in the English countryside, Reuters reports. The president will be in the city just for one night after a dinner party at Winston Churchill’s childhood home, Blenheim Palace, and before meeting Prime Minister Theresa May in her official country home. The two state leaders will watch a demonstration by British soldiers at an undisclosed location. Trump will also meet with Queen Elizabeth II in Windsor Castle, about 22 miles from Buckingham Palace. He will then travel north to Scotland, where he owns two golf courses. A spokesperson for the prime minister denied that the trip was planned so Trump could avoid London protests, but over 50,000 people have reportedly signed up for a demonstration in central London.
