U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will nominate professional wrestling mogul and Trump Foundation megadonor Linda McMahon to run the Small Business Administration, Reuters reported on Wednesday. McMahon, 68, is a co-founder, along with her husband Vince, of popular professional wrestling franchise WWE. The couple have long been close to Trump, having donated to his foundation and famously featured him in one wrestling special. McMahon ran for U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 2010 but lost to Richard Blumenthal. In an internal memo obtained by Reuters, Trump touted McMahon as the right fit for the SBA because of her experience in growing the WWE from 13 employees to a worldwide empire with 800 employees. Earlier this year, McMahon publicly chastised Trump’s “deplorable” campaign rhetoric, saying his comments about women were “not helping, certainly, to put women in the best light.”
