Trump Says Missouri-Based Chiefs Made ‘Great State of Kansas’ Proud

He quickly deleted the tweet thanking the “Great State of Kansas” with the geographical mixup and replaced it with one referring to Missouri.

The Kansas City Chiefs are based in Kansas City, Missouri. That, apparently, was news to President Trump, who tweeted after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win Sunday night that they represented “the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well.” He deleted the tweet minutes later and replaced it one referring to the “Great State of Missouri,” but fortunately, there’s a thing called screenshots.
