President Trump once again railed against Saturday Night Live following a skewering of his national emergency declaration, saying NBC and other media corporations’ handling of his time in office is “the real Collusion!” Trump declared the emergency Friday to obtain funding for his border wall during a rambling press conference. Alec Baldwin, who routinely portrays Trump on the sketch comedy show, lampooned the president’s explanation, saying on the show “We have a tremendous amount of drugs flowing into the country from the southern border—or the 'brown line,' as many people have asked me not to call it...That’s why we need wall. Because wall works. Wall makes safe.” “I have to [sign the emergency declaration] because I want to. It’s really simple. We have a problem,” Baldwin’s Trump also said, stating “basically taking military money so I can has wall,” The Hill notes. “Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution?” Trump complained on Twitter Sunday morning. “Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!
