Trump Winery in Virginia is reportedly looking for 23 foreign workers under the H-2 visa program, which permits foreign laborers to work in the U.S. temporarily if Americans don’t want the jobs. According to a petition unearthed by BuzzFeed News, the workers will be paid $12.25 an hour to work on a 1,300-acre estate from mid-March through late October. While the job posting reportedly did not list the working conditions of the job, the winery’s previous applications warned workers that they would have to work outside in 10-degree weather while “on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time.”

Trump’s businesses have reportedly sought to hire over 600 foreign guest workers since he launched his presidential campaign in 2015, many working at Mar-a-Lago and his golf clubs. Trump previously stated that it was “almost impossible” to find Americans to fill the jobs, hence the need for foreign labor. The White House and the winery did not respond to BuzzFeed’s request for comment. This comes after the president fired about a dozen undocumented workers from his New York golf club earlier this month.
