Trump’s border czar Tom Homan isn’t bothered by Selena Gomez’s tears over plans for mass deportations and says he is going to keep going “without apology.” Gomez broke down crying in a now-deleted viral Instagram story over the policy. “All my people are getting attacked. The children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry,” she said in the viral clip, which was also captioned with the words “I’m sorry” and an image of the Mexican flag. Homan responded on Fox News Monday, saying: “We’re going to do this job, and we’re going to enforce the laws of this country. If they don’t like it, then go to Congress and change the law... no apologies, we’re moving forward.” He was later asked about Gomez’s video again on Hannity. “We got a quarter of a million Americans dead from fentanyl that came across an open border—where’s the tears for them?” Homan said. He went on to claim that 500,000 children had been “sex trafficked into this country.” “This administration can’t find over 300,000—where’s the tears for them?” Homan asked.
