First Virginia, then Los Angeles, now Alaska? The U.S. has seen three earthquakes in the past 10 days, the most recent striking off the coast of Alaska early Friday morning and prompting a tsunami warning for parts of the Aleutian Islands. But the sizeable 7.1-magnitude quake only produced “a little bump of a wave,” according to a spokesman for the Alaska Department of Homeland Security. The tsunami alert was cancelled shortly after it was put into effect.
