Tucker Max certainly wants points for effort. The male comedian and novelist says his $500,000 donation to Planned Parenthood was rejected. An advisor for Max, Ryan Holliday, says he suggested to that Max donate to the organization for tax purposes, and Holliday said Max told him “they really did help me and my girlfriend when I was poor, and I really do believe in their mission.” Holliday said that although Planned Parenthood initially seemed excited about the donation, the organization then changed their minds due to Max’s “perception”—especially since Max has been boycotted by feminist groups.
