Twitter’s head of trust and safety is resigning, according to reports. Ella Irwin, who oversaw the site’s content moderation efforts and was at the company for just under a year, told Reuters and the Wall Street Journal Thursday that she was leaving her position—though she did not give a reason. Twitter owner Elon Musk has faced an onslaught of criticism in recent months for gutting the social media site’s content moderation efforts, which has also contributed to an advertiser exodus.
