Astronomers suspect two more planets may be lurking behind Pluto. Two studies from the UK and Spain speculate that two extra planets is the only way to explain the movement of objects in the regions beyond Neptune and Pluto. Trans-Neptunian objects, or ETNOs, are supposed to move randomly through space, but instead, these move with symmetry. “We consider that the most probable explanation is that other unknown planets exist beyond Neptune and Pluto,” an astronomer from the Complutense University of Madrid said.
