The U.S. Department of State announced Tuesday that it is ordering the ejection of 15 Cuban employees from its embassy in Washington. The department said in a statement that the decision was made because of Cuba’s “failure to take appropriate steps to protect our diplomats,” who experienced sonic attacks that affected the health of at least 21 Americans in Havana. The U.S. withdrew more than half of its government personnel from its Havana embassy last week.
