U.S. Intel Suggests 100 to 300 Died in Gaza Hospital Blast

Current U.S. intelligence assessments have determined between 100 and 300 people died in the blast at the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza earlier this week, CNN reported Thursday. The number is lower than the figure Hamas released shortly after the blast. The Palestinian Health Ministry had said at least 500 people died, later announcing that 471 perished. The U.S. intelligence assessment, which the Office of the Director of National Intelligence sent to Capitol Hill, is preliminary.
