Michael Phelps isn’t the only one breaking records over there. The U.S. men’s basketball team had a massive win over Nigeria on Thursday with a record-breaking final score of 156-73. With that score, the U.S. set the new Olympic record for points in a game, set an Olympic record with 78 points during one half, and bested several U.S. records as well. The team had passed 100 points with 5 minutes still left in the third quarter. Carmelo Anthony alone scored 37 points – the new American Olympic mark for points in a game.
