An out-of-control race car spun off a mud track in Texas, on Sunday, striking three other cars and smashing into a crowd of spectators—leaving three people critically injured and another two dozen less seriously hurt. Video of the incident at the Fabens Mud Races obtained by KVIA shows spectators running for their lives as the car heads toward them, and then some tending to the victims on the ground. It’s not clear why the vehicle left the track and broke through the guardrail.
