If you were masochistic enough to make it to the end of Sunday's True Detective season finale, you might have seen this 30-second teaser for what looks like HBO's next big series: Westworld.
Based on the 1970s cult classic sci-fi movie, Westworld is about an immersive Wild West theme park populated with android cowboys... who begin to malfunction. If it sounds a little bit like Jurassic Park, that could be because Michael Crichton wrote and directed the original.
Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Evan Rachel Wood star in the new series, developed for TV by Jonathan Nolan, co-writer of The Dark Knight with his brother Christopher. Westworld premieres in 2016.
