It’s every pitcher’s nightmare—a line drive to the head, so quick off the bat there’s no time to react. Yankees pitcher Bryan Mitchell took a baseball to the face in Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Twins. Mitchell, who suffered a nasal fracture, joins a long list of unlucky pitcher’s who have been struck by line drives, including Chris Jakubauskas, Carlos Carrasco, Alex Cobb, Aroldis Chapman, and Dan Jennings.
