Italian actress Asia Argento, who’s accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, urged the public to stop buying Marchesa designs after a Daily Beast report detailed the fashion label’s connections to a mysterious company that may be linked to the disgraced film producer. “#BoycottMarchesa,” Argento tweeted Thursday morning, linking to the Daily Beast story. Marchesa was co-founded by Weinstein’s estranged wife, Georgina Chapman, who has insisted Weinstein has no ties to the business. But sources told The Beast that Weinstein allegedly sunk his own funds in the company when it started up. He may also have links to a company, SeaMarch Creations Inc., that’s connected to Marchesa.
