Weinstein Rape Case May Go to Grand Jury Next Week

The Manhattan district attorney will seek an indictment of film producer Harvey Weinstein next week, NBC New York reported Tuesday. NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said Friday that evidence was being gathered to possibly arrest Weinstein on rape charges. Boyce previously said that actress Paz de la Huerta told investigators last month that Weinstein raped her twice in 2010 and that her story was credible. Several other women have also publicly accused Weinstein of rape and sexual assault over a period of decades.
