WH Lawyer Ty Cobb to Reporter: ‘Are You on Drugs?’

White House special counsel Ty Cobb lashed out at a reporter over questions about a letter Trump wrote which laid out his rationale for firing former FBI Director James Comey. “Are you on drugs?” Cobb wrote to Natasha Bertrand, a reporter for Business Insider. Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly looking into the letter, in which Trump said Comey’s refusal to publicly say Trump was not under investigation was a reason to fire him. “The White House willingly authorized the physical delivery of the ‘letter’ to the [special counsel],” Cobb said in an email to Bertrand, later blasting Comey for “usurpation of powers and other erratic and inexplicable conduct.”
