In a blistering book set to be published on Tuesday, two close advisers to President Donald Trump write that his administration is lousy with “embedded enemies,” ranging from fair-weather Republicans to Democratic “swamp creatures” who seek to undermine the president’s agenda—and end his presidency. Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, who are not employed at the White House but are close confidants of the president, write in Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State Is Undermining the Presidency that opponents of Trump’s agenda, which they dub the “resistance,” includes James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok and Sally Yates, and possibly White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. According to the Washington Post, which obtained a copy of the book, these individuals “attack the administration with a thousand cuts... in complete disregard to the millions of Americans who voted for Donald Trump.”
