Will & Jaden Smith to Co-Star in Film

While Willow Smith is busy whipping her hair back and forth, her dad, Will Smith, and her brother, Jaden have teamed up for an upcoming sci-fi flick directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The film, originally titled 1000 A.E., will be about a boy 1,000 years in the future who must navigate an abandoned Earth to save himself and his estranged father. “The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project,” Shyamalan said. Jaden’s breakout role was last year’s remake of The Karate Kid, which grossed $350 million worldwide. Shyamalan could use a hit: His most recent movie, The Last Airbender, made $300 million worldwide but was a flop with critics.
