Feds raided Rudy Giuliani’s New York City apartment on Wednesday in connection with his questionable dealings in Ukraine. No one has much doubt that the Trump crony is extra shady, but the question many folks have, including The New Abnormal's listeners, is whether he will be held accountable for his alleged criminal activity?

On Thursday’s bonus New Abnormal Live Zoom! episode Molly Jong-Fast and producer Jesse Cannon spoke with Daily Beast White House reporter Scott Bixby and Daily Beast politics editor Matt Fuller about what could become of the infamous former NYC mayor.

“It seems you don’t do something like this unless the person has done something really bad,” Molly said. Matt made clear that he’s operating under the assumption that everyone is innocent unless proven guilty, but yeah, things don’t look too good for Rudy. Let’s just say, “This isn’t a wild goose chase,” he says.

The crew also discussed Biden’s address on Wednesday night.

“It was a sales pitch for things we already knew exist,” explained Scott. But Molly does believe that Biden is doing good with the administration’s vaccination efforts, which has helped people to see that the government actually works.

“Biden is very sneakily liberal,” added Matt.

Then, the convo pivots to the Republicans who will run for president in 2024. Will Trump? And if Trump does run, will Ron DeSantis drop out?

Plus! Molly learns that Pete Sessions is not Jeff Sessions’ brother and why liberals are drinking the John Boehner Kool-Aid. They even switched things up and did a “Love that Guy” segment instead of a “Fuck that Guy” and it was still very juicy.
