Will Smith has won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Serena and Venus Williams’ father in King Richard. Smith’s win came not long after he got into a confrontation onstage with Chris Rock. The multitalented Smith has been nominated in the category twice before but this is the first time he gets to take home the Oscar.
