Women’s Champ Eats 38 Hot Dogs

Defending women’s hot dog eating champ Miki Sudo clinched the title again Saturday at Nathan’s Famous in Coney Island. Sudo, a Las Vegas native, ate 38 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, earning herself first place and $10,000. Defending men’s champion Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, meanwhile, tasted defeat after last year's second-place finisher Matt Stonie beat him by two hot dogs, for a total of 62 hot dogs and buns.
